Round 6 Summer Stages Crail Raceway - 9th June 2018

2018  Championship leader Gordon Morrison was seeded car 1 for this event and the seeding was apt as he lead all day, Gordon drove faultlessly and the car behaved itself during the day, Co driven by Callum MacPherson who was over the moon with the result and his first win. The Lochwinnoch Heavy Haulage sponsored Subaru Impreza looked really strong when it was flying around the stages and a well deserved win.

Stephen Bethwaite and Ann Forster in their 1400cc Vauxhall Nova had a fantastic day finishing first in class.

George Auld and Richard Stewart in their mk2 Escort finished 11 o/a and 1st class 3 championship crew

Tom pearson and Jim Stairs have had a few problems with the car in the past, but with a few new parts fitted prior to this event see them get the well deserved finish, Class 3 championship 2nd place and both used their jokers.

Now for the not so good bits. only 8 of our contenders entered this one and only 5 finished

Micheal Harbour rolled his little C2r2, Cameron Craig and Ewan Lees both used their jokers but their rally ended with a blown engine, Adam Hammer and Wayne Wood retired after their engine dumped all the oil out.

Lets hope all are ready for round 7 over the Otterburn ranges
